March for Recovery
Presented by Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust
September marks National Recovery Month and in 2017 we celebrated with the Inaugural Bridge House / Grace House March for Recovery Presented by the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust. Over 300 people joined us in Palmer Park on September 16th for this community celebration of the lifelong journey that is recovery. Whether you are in recovery or know someone in recovery or simply want to support the recovery process, we hope you will join Bridge House/Grace House in 2018 for our 2nd Annual March for Recovery Presented by Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust.
Addiction is a disease that affects everyone – family, friends, and the community. All are invited to march with us in September. Join us for food, music, inspiring speakers, and a second line around the park.
Everyone who registers will receive a balloon that represents why they are marching: purple for your own recovery, white for the memory of a loved one, blue in support of someone else’s recovery.
The event is free and open to the public, but advanced registration is requested. Festivities begin at 9:30AM, followed by a brief ceremony at 10:00AM and the march at 10:45AM.
Online registration is available below. On-site registration will open at 9:30 AM in Palmer Park near the back entrance, at the intersection of S. Carrollton and Claiborne.
